TL is the starting Timeline value - the round the unit first activates. MP marks Mass Produced, the only trait that allows duplicates of the same card number.

What the numbers say
Averages across the fifteen cards: 13.3 hit points, 8.1 VP, and a starting Timeline of 1, 2 or 3.
Hit points run 8 to 17. The Torohachi at 8 is the outlier - it is designed to die cheaply. Everything else sits between 11 and 17, which means most units survive four to six three-dice attacks.
VP runs 5 to 10, and it does not track hit points as tightly as you would expect. The PA01 Gundam has 17 HP and 10 VP; the Wing Zero has 12 HP and 9 VP. Per point of damage, the Wing Zero is the better target.
Starting timeline distribution
| Starting TL | Count | Cards |
| 1 | 4 | Vidar, Aerial, PA01 Gundam, Torohachi |
| 2 | 7 | ST01 Gundam, Barbatos, Char's Zaku II, Delta Plus, Pharact, Guncannon, Guntank |
| 3 | 4 | Wing Zero, Epyon, Unicorn, Darilbalde |
|---|
Four units act in round one. That is a third of the pool, and it is the single most lopsided stat line in the set: a 3-value unit with an expensive weapon can lose two activations per Phase against a 1-value unit with a cheap one.
Duplicates and reprints
Two cards depict the RX-78-2: ST01-U01 (15 HP, 8 VP, TL 2) and PA01-U01 (17 HP, 10 VP, TL 1). Because the duplicate rule is keyed to card number, both are legal in one squad. The same applies to the Gundam, Guncannon and Guntank parallel cards Bandai has been distributing at events - they carry their own numbers.
Faction spread
Earth Federation is the largest single bloc with seven cards, largely because the Paint Pack is a Federation set. Asticassia has three, Londo Bell two, and Zeon, Gjallarhorn, Tekkadan, G Team, White Fang and OZ one each.
For deck building this matters more than raw stats: your Tactics deck needs at least one unit that meets each card's requirement, so faction coverage decides which cards you can legally bring. See tactics cards.
Which card is best
There is no tier list worth trusting in a game this young, and scenario objectives change what is good. What can be said from the printed numbers:
- Best value per activation: the four TL-1 units, especially Aerial (16 HP for 10 VP).
- Most durable: PA01 Gundam and Barbatos at 17 HP.
- Cheapest to lose: Torohachi at 5 VP, and the only duplicable card.
- Most punishing to lose: every 10 VP card - Aerial, Unicorn, Barbatos, PA01 Gundam.
Squad shapes that use these numbers are on the squad building page; the damage maths behind them is on combat and dice.
